AKME nuclear reactor coming soon to a city near you!

Russian nuclear regulator has licensed AKME-Engineering to build nuclear power plants.

Hilarity aside, the proposed lead-bismuth cooled SVBR-100 reactor looks quite promising. For one thing, it can use its uranium fuel much more efficiently than current reactor types, and leaves less and by far shorter-lived waste.
